About This Role

Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more. Ormiston Horizon Academy is seeking to appoint a Teacher of PE to start September 2026. As a teacher at Ormiston Horizon Academy, you will work with the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the aspirations and aims of the Academy are achieved. All teachers will undertake Personal Tutor responsibilities and will receive training and support to ensure their success in this area. The Personal Tutor has the key role of managing the pastoral and academic welfare of all members of the tutor group. They are the first and most regular contact for students, parents/carers and subject staff.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Teacher with knowledge and understanding of national curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4. You’ll have excellent knowledge of safeguarding of children and young people. The successful candidate will be receptive to change, creative, reflective and analytical.
