About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and skilled Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary therapy team at our Satellite provision based on Oxford Gardens Primary. We are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist, 2 days per week (part time term time only basis). The postholder will work under the guidance of our Principal SaLT and the wider SaLT Team to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based, autism-specific interventions for our pupils. You will collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and professionals to create personalised learning and communication plans that support every child’s educational journey.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification.
- HCPC registration and commitment to CPD (in line with RCSLT guidance).
- Experience working with autistic children and young people, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of autism-specific communication strategies and interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for inclusive education and a child-centred approach.
