About this Role

Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy is seeking a highly motivated Attendance Officer to join our busy pastoral team. We are expanding the team to meet the needs of our students and community under the mantra \”Attend to Achieve\”.

The successful candidate will be a reliable, hard-working team player with strong keyboard, written and verbal communication skills and a \”can do\” attitude. Experience working within a school environment and using Arbor are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy is located in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, near Birmingham. It is a slightly larger than average, 11–16 co-educational academy with approximately 1,200 students. The academy’s reputation locally is excellent and OSCA was graded as a good academy in 2023. The academy has received multiple awards including the Investors in People Gold Award, The Quality In Careers Standard Gold Award, The Basic Skills Quality Mark, and the Artsmark Gold Award. OSCA is a vibrant and caring learning community with a strong code of values that guides its work and creates a secure environment where all students can thrive.
