We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join our friendly catering team to assist in the preparation and serving of main meals, snacks and drinks for the students, staff and visitors at Sandymoor Ormiston Academy. Prior experience is preferred and experience of working with young people in an educational setting would be an advantage. We are fully committed to on‑going continuous professional development and can offer an extremely supportive and positive atmosphere to work in. The role is based on working 22.5 hours per week, school term time (39 working weeks per year). The position is located in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of main meals, snacks and drinks for students, staff and visitors.
- Support the catering team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in catering or serving is preferred.
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility.
