We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and flexible Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team at Ormiston NEW Academy. As an LSA, you’ll be an integral part of a student’s learning journey—helping them overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Work with young people who find learning difficult because of disability, health issues, behavioural and social development challenges, dyslexia, or who do not speak English as their first language.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to help students build confidence and develop skills.
- Assist the team in delivering tailored support for students with significant SEN needs within the Resource Base.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, with one‑to‑one support for children with significant SEN needs.
- Experience in primary or nursery settings is highly desirable due to the level of care and nurture required.
