We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have special educational needs, such as cognition and learning needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, communication and interaction challenges or physical and sensory needs and lower literacy ability. The post is available for a fixed term of 6 months.
The post holder will:
- liaise with the Support Centre Manager, SENCO, Pastoral and Teaching Staff
- attend meetings and work with specialist outside agencies to support pupils successfully
- provide additional support and interventions to help pupils achieve emotionally and academically
