Broadland High Ormiston Academy is recruiting for reliable and hardworking people to join our exam invigilation team. We are looking for people who can be available on a casual and flexible basis to invigilate external and internal examinations. The role may also provide assistance as scribes or readers to students who need extra support in exams. No experience is needed as training will be given but a willingness to support our students during times of exam stress is a must. Examinations take place in November, March, April and the main GCSE exam season May-June. The post is offered on a casual basis, hours will vary and be determined by examination dates and number of invigilators needed.

Duties Will Include:

  • Ensuring a calm and organised environment to give the students the best possible opportunity to be successful in their examinations.
  • Conducting examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and the academy’s regulations and instructions.
  • Having a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process.
