Responsibilities The successful candidate will support the educational and emotional development of students, implementing strategies that support pupil regulation, emotional wellbeing, and learning outcomes. Duties include planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals or small groups, monitoring learners, assessment, and recording and reporting on attendance, achievement, behaviour, progress and development.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning / HLTA professional standards or working toward it.
- Experience working with children, ideally those with autism or additional needs.
- Knowledge of sensory processing, autism strategies and strategies that promote engagement and regulation.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach to support.
- Skills in using ICT to support learning and record progress.
- A desire to learn, grow, and be part of a high‑performing team.
