About This Role Ormiston Park Academy is seeking an experienced and committed Exams Officer to drive all aspects of examinations during a period of maternity cover. The role is offered working 35 hours per week over 42 working weeks per year (term time plus 5 development days and additional 3 weeks). The postholder will play a key role in the effective planning, coordination and administration of all internal and external examinations within the academy, ensuring processes run smoothly and in full compliance with awarding body regulations. The postholder will ensure that students are given the appropriate arrangements and support to perform to the best of their ability, maintaining a high level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail across all exam administration activities. Responsibilities Drive all aspects of examinations, including planning, coordination and administration for internal and external assessments. Ensure compliance with awarding body regulations and exam policy across the academy. Coordinate examination timetables, seating plans, and necessary support arrangements for students. Maintain accurate data and records related to examinations and outcomes. Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth examination operations during peak periods. Qualifications Ability to build and establish successful relationships with pupils and their families. Excellent communication skills; written, spoken and electronic. Ability to produce and analyse data reports in relation to attendance and examinations. Knowledge of Arbor desirable.
