We are seeking to appoint a Director of Faculty for English to provide effective leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that the faculty is managed and led in a way that meets its aims and objectives and contributes positively to whole‑school priorities.
As our Director of Faculty, you will work to support and secure high standards of teaching and learning by leading on the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and practices that promote continuous improvement, professional growth and excellent outcomes for all students. This includes the development and delivery of a high‑quality curriculum to maximise student achievement and progress. All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and the Director of Faculty will model and uphold the highest standards in this duty.
Ormiston Horizon Academy is an 11‑16 co‑educational secondary academy school in Chell, Stoke‑on‑Trent, our outstanding building and expansive site allows us to offer an education with a difference for our students. We have a wonderful team of staff at OHA, who work relentlessly to ensure our students are provided with the best education possible.
