We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise students who are following a programme of study in a classroom environment during the absence of class teachers. The Cover Supervisor is not required to teach but to supervise groups of students, ensuring learning takes place in a calm and orderly environment. The role will involve deployment to various departments in the Academy on an ‘as required’ basis.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students in the classroom while teachers are absent, ensuring a calm, orderly learning environment.
- Deploy to various departments in the Academy on an ‘as required’ basis.
- Support students alongside subject teachers when whole‑class cover is not needed and assist with supporting students in other areas across the academy.
- Provide additional support to both staff and students across key stages.
- Maintain the working pattern Monday to Friday 8:10am – 3:30pm, 39 working weeks per year.
