About This Role
Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more. At Ormiston Forge Academy we are seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to join our team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, playing a key strategic role in supporting the Principal by leading or supporting operational areas of the Academy.
Responsibilities
- Play a key strategic role in the development of operational and facilities services within the Academy.
- Overall responsibility for facilities management, estates capital development plans, health and safety, site lettings and minibus compliance, ICT infrastructure management and development plans, and the academy mountain centre.
Qualifications
- Minimum of level 4 qualifications, ideally in a relevant area.
- Experience of managing staff and working at a senior level.
- Awareness of current IT developments and competence in their use.
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to the education sector.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations relating to premises management.
- Knowledge of Asset Management.
- Knowledge of procurement and related financial regulations.
- Knowledge of GDPR and how this applies to the role.
