What You Will be Doing
- Use professional payroll software to process weekly, monthly, and quarterly payrolls
- Manage the starters and leavers process for clients
- Process statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, and SSP
- Handle payroll year-end tasks including P60s
- Administer auto-enrolment and workplace pensions
- Support clients with a high standard service and clear communication
- Carry out day-to-day admin and HMRC-related paperwork
- Learn how payroll integrates with real business operations
You’ll spend part of your week studying, and the rest gaining practical experience with our expert team.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications/Skills- 6 GCSEs at grade 5 or above (including Maths & English)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Well‑organised, self‑motivated, and detail‑focused
- A full UK driving licence
- A positive team player
