Ormandy Rycroft Engineering is one of the most iconic brands in the HVAC industry, UK based and established over 125 years ago. The role will be a permanent position, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Identifying customer requirements.
- Designing systems and products.
- Reading design specs and technical drawings.
- Creating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
- Estimating costs and project timings.
- Managing projects and delivering them on time.
- Ensuring projects meet safety regulations.
- Attending meetings, writing reports, and giving presentations.
- Providing technical assistance.
- Problem solving and analysing issues.
- Assessing the tools and information required to develop solutions.
- Assisting with spare parts selection.
Proven expertise as an electrical engineer, hands-on experience using design and calculation software, understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards, and knowledge of heating and ventilation are essential. Strong organisational and communication skills are also required.
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline preferable.
