We’re working with a fast-growing software company entering an exciting new phase of expansion following recent investment. They’re now looking for a Senior QA Analyst & Automation Engineer to take a leading role in shaping their testing strategy and automation capability.
This is a highly technical role, ideal for someone who enjoys working close to engineering, building frameworks from scratch, and driving quality across complex products, particularly SDK-based software.
The Role:
- You’ll play a key role in championing shift-left testing, embedding automation across the development lifecycle, and improving overall product quality.
- Working closely with Engineering, DevOps and Product teams, you’ll:
- Design and build test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Drive adoption of automation-first and shift-left practices
- Test SDKs and libraries, focusing on developer experience and reliability
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure)
- Identify opportunities to replace manual testing with automation
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Mentor junior team members and influence QA best practice
- Analyse test results and provide actionable insights
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in QA and test automation, ideally at a senior level
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Solid understanding of:
- Unit testing, TDD / BDD
