Job Summary:
An opportunity to work within our expanding brokerage department; handling multiple asset classes. We are seeking an Operations Analyst who will provide support to our operational team and trading desks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of middle and backoffice processes, including trade booking, settlement and reconciliations. Our brokerage department has evolved and grown over time, now offering Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income and Metals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade bookings
- Inputting and maintaining client details and SSIs
- Liaising with clients and custodians for matching and settlement
- Tracking and limiting of fails and financing costs
- Reconciliations between internal and external systems
- P&L reporting to sales traders
- Month end processes
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a middle or backoffice role, preferably equities based
- Understanding of post trade life cycle, from completion to settlement
- Strong attention to detail is a must
