This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build something from scratch, working closely with the wider business and global stakeholders as the London office establishes itself.

  • Oversee the finance and outsourced accounting functions for the London office
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of tax regulations in relevant European jurisdictions

  • Assist with the development of internal performance reporting metrics and external benchmarking
  • Partner with leadership team to ensure finance and tax functions are appropriately managed
  • Help establish robust tax and finance processes, procedures, and controls
  • Oversee annual financial statement audit

About You

  • ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 firm
  • Subsequent experience gained in real estate, a hedge fund, or private equity
  • Strong, hands-on European tax background, including structuring, reporting and filing
  • Experience with accounting concepts under UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Working knowledge of VAT across European jurisdictions
  • Experience with real estate finance, complex structures, and real estate loans
  • Understanding of the legal and corporate structures required to establish and operate a business across London and European markets
  • Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on, fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to build a function largely from scratch
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage outsourced providers and work cross functionally with teams globally
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
