Investment Operations – Asset Management

Role Summary

Asset Manager is an active discretionary fund management house delivering single, multi asset, seg mandate, and charity fund strategies to institutional and retail clients. The business has experienced significant growth and backed by a new strategy it is looking to position itself to scale even further over the next 5 years. Key to the success is the operational support to support our strategic business goals, automation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational running of the Charles River portfolio management system and ensure portfolios are accurate before market open.
• Raise and resolve reconciliation or trade discrepancies quickly and provide updates to fund managers.
• Monitor trade settlements and work with brokers, outsourced teams, and custodians to resolve issues.
• Support manual trades (e.g., structured products, OEICs, Unit Trusts) and ensure trades are correctly reflected in systems.
• Manage corporate actions—present information, record decisions, and update systems accurately.
• Maintain asset set‑ups, pricing, static data, settlement information, and market rules.

What We\’re Looking For:

• 1–5 years experience in Investment Operations or Middle Office roles.
• Hands‑on experience with portfolio management systems (Charles River highly desirable).
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, FX forwards and structured products.
• Strong IT and Excel/MS Office skills.
