Investment Operations Associate
Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Operations Associate with investment management operations experience to support daily processes critical to product delivery and business growth.
The role focuses on trade settlement, NAV and PCF calculations, data distribution, reconciliations, and index maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations:
- Monitor and process trade settlements for traditional securities and digital assets.
- Calculate and distribute NAV and Portfolio Composition Files (PCF).
- Maintain accurate product and entitlement data across platforms.
- Reconciliations & Controls:
- Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations with administrators and finance.
- Ensure accuracy in fund accounting, fees, revenues, and P&L reporting.
- Product & Index Maintenance:
- Assist with index rebalancing and product launches.
- Support operational setup for exchange listings.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare internal and external reports.
- Coordinate with custodians, brokers, service providers, and exchanges to resolve operational issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Enhance operational workflows and explore automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in investment management operations (asset management, ETPs, or related).
- Knowledge of fund structures, NAV/PCF concepts, and operational processes.
- Strong Excel/data skills; API experience a plus.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, proactive problem-solver.
- Excellent communication skills; additional languages (German or Italian) advantageous.
