We are seeking an experienced and driven Principal to join a growing Fund Finance Advisory platform. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead complex transactions, originate new business, and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the team. You will operate at the forefront of the fund finance market, working with leading private markets participants across private equity, credit, infrastructure, and real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex fund finance transactions end-to-end as senior deal lead
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and counterparties
- Originate new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
- Structure and deliver tailored financing solutions aligned to client objectives
- Manage full deal lifecycle including market engagement, negotiations, and execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships across sponsors, lenders, and advisors
- Mentor junior team members and support team development
- Contribute to market insight, innovation, and best practice development
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in fund finance, debt advisory, or a closely related field
- Strong track record of leading and closing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions
- Established network across financial sponsors, lenders, and service providers
- Commercial mindset with the ability to originate and win business
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Proven project management experience
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach in a dynamic environment
Desirable
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent qualification
- Fluency in a second European language
