We’re recruiting a Senior eFX Liquidity Analyst for a growing financial markets business. This is a senior role with real ownership of liquidity provider performance, routing decisions and execution quality.
You’ll use data to identify where execution can improve, work directly with liquidity providers and venues, and partner with teams across Risk, Operations, Development and Sales.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the analysis of liquidity provider performance across spreads, fill ratios, slippage, rejects, latency and last-look hold times.
- Set performance benchmarks, spot trends and present clear recommendations to the wider business.
- Improve liquidity routing and provider allocation to support better execution.
- Evaluate new liquidity providers and lead their onboarding.
- Monitor hedging execution and liquidity exposure, identifying concentrations of risk and recommending action.
- Lead the resolution of complex liquidity issues with internal teams and external partners.
- Build relationships with liquidity providers, venues and clients.
- Contribute to projects across the business and mentor junior analysts.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have at least 4–5 years’ experience in financial services, with a strong background in FX or CFD brokerage, electronic trading or liquidity management.
You’ll also bring:
- A detailed understanding of electronic trading, FIX connectivity, execution venues and order-routing technology.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills; SQL and Python are preferred.
- Experience assessing execution performance and managing liquidity provider relationships.
- Knowledge of market structure and instruments such as FX, commodities, equities, crypto or futures.
- The confidence to lead projects, influence stakeholders and work independently.
- A degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related subject.
If you enjoy getting into the detail of execution data and want the scope to make a measurable difference to liquidity performance, I’d be keen to hear from you.
