£33,269 – £33,948 pro rata / £17.24 – £17.60 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
We are seeking to recruit someone who is highly motivated to provide high quality services to older people in our extra care facility.
You will be required to undertake tasks as delegated by senior staff but also need to be able to use your own initiative at times. The post requires adherence to Care Standards and Codes of Practice as well as a positive attitude towards optimum fulfilment of older people’s lives.
Previous experience in social care is highly desirable.
You should hold a minimum of SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or other relevant qualifications to enable registration with SSSC or achieve this within 3 years of appointment. You must also register with SSSC as a Support Worker within 3 months of appointment.
