Orphir Primary School is seeking suitable candidates for the position of Support for Learning Assistant (2 posts):

  • 1 x 11.5 hours per week, Term Time
  • 1 x 12 hours per week, Term Time

This is a permanent position with a salary range of Β£28,363 - Β£28,582 pro rata / Β£15.54 - Β£15.66 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance).

As a member of the school team, you will be expected to work with pupils, colleagues, and parents. We require candidates to have experience in working with young people and to be committed to supporting, encouraging, and including all children in achieving their potential.

You should have a good general standard of education, including evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy. This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.
