Support for Learning Assistant at Stromness Primary School (2 Posts)
- 1 x 20 hours per week
- 1 x 16.5 hours per week
Permanent position with a salary of £29,257 - £29,476 pro rata (£16.03 - £16.15 per hour). The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Head Teacher. Your working pattern is Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to work as part of a team to support and enrich the learning of children and young people with additional support needs.
We require candidates to have experience in working with young people and to be committed to supporting, encouraging and including all children in achieving their potential. You should have a good general standard education including evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy.
The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the 'must have' section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.
These posts are a regulated role with children and require Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
