School Crossing Patrol Officer
Stromness
6.66 hours per week
Permanent, Term Time
£28,192 - £28,462 pro rata
£14.61 – £14.75 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to a Senior Administrative Officer. Your working pattern is Monday to Friday, with a 40 minute shift in the morning and afternoon. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to assist school children to cross the road at an established crossing point in Stromness. We are looking for a punctual, trustworthy, honest individual who has a genuine interest in children's safety to join our team. The normal working week is restricted to opening and closing times of Stromness Primary School. A uniform and equipment will be supplied.
The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants. This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
