Kitchen Assistant at Stromness Primary School
15 hours per week, Term Time Permanent
£29,909 - £30,237 pro rata (£15.50 – £15.67 per hour). The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Service Manager – Corporate Catering. Your working pattern is Monday – Friday, 10:30 – 14:00, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake duties as a kitchen assistant, assisting with the school meal service at Papdale Primary School. Duties include:
- Serving meals
- Basic food preparation and cooking
- Operating the till
- Setting up and clearing down the dining area
- Washing up and cleaning

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
