Aurrida House is seeking caring and diligent people to join our committed team. You will provide social and personal care on a shift rota basis to children and young people with additional support needs.
You will provide a wide range of high-quality support services for children with additional support needs and their families. This includes part week residential support for school placement, residential and day respite, short breaks, a home-based support service, and an emergency provision.
You must be able to evidence a commitment to the care of children and have experience in the field of additional support needs. We are looking for someone who holds a strong sense of professionalism and who is familiar with the standards of care required by the Care Commission.
You must hold an SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People), at SCQF level 7, AND an HNC Social Services, or other relevant qualification(s) to enable registration with SSSC. Where the essential qualification(s) are not held, you are required to achieve these within 3 years of appointment.
You must be registered with SSSC either at appointment or within 6 months of commencing in post.
You will be provided with regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your existing skills.
This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children and protected adults.
