The predicted salary is between 29443 - 30041 Β£ per year.

Applications are invited for two full time posts of Quarry Operative at Cursiter Quarry, Firth.

We are seeking candidates with a flexible attitude to work and a willingness to undertake a variety of duties. The duties will include operating plant and machinery (mobile and/or static) and other duties in support of the delivery of quarrying services. An ability to work with others and members of the public is also required.

In addition to the normal range of duties, you must be able to undertake standby duties and winter maintenance works as required. This will involve out of hours work, for which an appropriate overtime or standby payment will be made. This will be on either a planned rota or relief basis.

Experience of driving or operating plant is required. Training and familiarisation will be provided on Quarry specific plant as required. General use of hand tools is also required to perform duties.

You should hold a full, current driving license. This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Scotland clearance.
