Job Description Advert Technician Kirkwall Grammar School 35 hours per week Permanent £32,743 - £35,006 £17.94 - £19.18 per hour The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance You will be reporting to the Business Manager Your working pattern is Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible. The purpose of this role is to assist the technician department in the provision of first line user support to staff and pupils. Your main duties will include resolving hardware and software problems and first line maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment. You will also carry out specified day-to-day tasks for a variety of other departments including Science, Technical, Business Technology and Enterprise and Drama. You will be responsible for preparation of materials used in the Design and Technology department.
