A Social Care Assistant at Hamnavoe House is required for 2 posts, each offering 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. The salary ranges from £34,468 to £35,168, equating to £17.87 to £18.23 per hour. This includes shift and Distant Islands Allowance.
You will report to the Senior Social Care Worker. The working pattern involves shift work over seven days, with flexibility available where possible.
The purpose of this role is to provide person-centred care to individuals, enabling them to live as independently as possible, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Standards, the Scottish Social Services Codes of Practice, and local and national policies regarding the protection of vulnerable adults.

You must register with the SSSC within 3 months of appointment. This post involves a contractual requirement to:
