£35,898 - £36,630 pro-rata

£18.61 – £18.99 per hour

The above amounts include shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Care Coordinator. Your working pattern involves working a rota of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.

The purpose of this role is to provide person-centred care to individuals to enable them to live as independently as possible, in line with the principles of the Health and Social Care Standards, the Scottish Social Services Codes of Practice and local and national policies in relation to the protection of vulnerable adults.

As a Social Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to older people in their own homes, in a friendly and respectful environment. You’ll help with everyday tasks and activities that make life meaningful; from personal care and companionship to supporting wellbeing and social inclusion.

Based in Braeburn Court, you’ll work closely with colleagues and senior staff, taking initiative, sharing ideas, and contributing to a supportive team culture where everyone’s input is valued. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to develop their skills and confidence in care.

This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
