Advert Service Manager (Transportation) Harbour Authority Building, Scapa 35 hours per week Permanent £62,908 - £68,529 £34.47 - £37.55 per hour The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Head of Marine Services and Transportation.

Your working pattern is 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

The purpose of this role is to lead, manage and develop core service delivery, high standards, continual improvement and delivery of a culture of high performance.

The role will support the Head of Marine Services and Transportation in the strategic direction of the service.

This is a key role responsible for shaping the future of transportation across the area, ensuring the provision of safe, sustainable and high-quality services for our communities.

You will lead the development and delivery of transport strategies, policies and major programmes, including the public bus and inter-island air services contracts, airfield operations and the Ferry Replacement Programme.

Working closely with elected members, government agencies and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in securing investment, influencing policy and delivering long-term infrastructure improvements.
