Relief Domestic for Various Older People's Care Facilities.

Hours are offered on an as and when required basis at £15.50 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance). A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate.

The purpose of this role is to undertake domestic duties at:

  • Smiddybrae House, a residential establishment in Dounby;
  • Hamnavoe House, a residential establishment in Stromness;
  • St Rognvald House, a residential establishment in Kirkwall.

This role provides continuous care to the frail, elderly and those with dementia.

The necessary experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.

This post involves a contractual requirement to work unsocial hours on a rota. This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
