26 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

£29,148 - £29,732 / £30,389 - £31,009 pro rata

£15.97 - £16.29 / £16.65 - £16.99 per hour

The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

Do you have experience working with individuals with support needs? Are you keen to make a difference to people's quality of life and help them achieve their goals? Do you enjoy being part of a person-centred, enthusiastic and fun team with a lot of variety to your week? If yes, then this is the role for you.

We provide Day Services working collaboratively alongside individuals with Learning Disabilities. A key part of the role is maintaining effective and professional relationships with service users, carers, staff and other service providers.

You will receive support and guidance from the Lifestyles Co-ordinators, Senior Lifestyles Co-ordinator or Registered Manager and be expected to adhere to the Health and Social Care Standards and the SSSC codes of practice for Social Service Workers.

To be appointed at Grade D: You must hold a good general standard of education including numeracy and literacy and achieve a SVQ2 in Social Services and Health care within 3 years of appointment.

To be appointed at Grade E: You will hold an SVQ2 in Social Services and Health Care or equivalent in accordance with the SSSC qualification requirements for registration.

This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with protected adults.
