You will be reporting to the Operational Manager (Early Learning and Childcare). Your working pattern is Monday-Friday, term time only. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the effective delivery of a high-quality Early Learning and Childcare Service at St Andrews Nursery for children aged 2-5 and their families. St Andrews Nursery is registered to provide a service to up to 64 children aged 2-5. The nursery operates from modern, purpose-built accommodation and outdoor spaces alongside St Andrews Primary School in Toab.
The ELC Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for the nursery team and lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of early learning and childcare, in line with local and national guidelines and policy. You will join a small group of senior ELC leaders in Orkney who work closely together for support and development.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
