The predicted salary is between 72435 - 72435 £ per year.
35 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Temporary up to 7 February 2028 £72,435 pro rata. The above amount includes Distant Islands Allowance. You will be reporting to the Head Teacher. Your working pattern is Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
Papdale Primary School is a large, welcoming primary school serving the Papdale area of Kirkwall. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, strong community links and commitment to continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, supporting high-quality learning and teaching, positive relationships and improved outcomes for all pupils. This post does not carry a regular teaching commitment; however, the successful candidate may be required to provide class cover when necessary.
Salary will be based on point 3 of the Depute Headteachers and Headteachers SNCT Salary Table plus Distant Islands Allowance. The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.
This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
