The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Building Cleaning Team Manager. Your working pattern is Monday - Thursday, 4.00pm - 8.00pm, Friday 2.30pm - 6.30pm. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.

The purpose of this role is to undertake, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas, which may include toilets and shower areas, within premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Powered equipment may be used where necessary.

  • Responsible for the supervision and instruction of the work group and carrying out performance audits when requested.
  • Ensuring all appropriate returns are completed correctly for the work group including timesheets, job cards and inspection forms.
  • Organisation of members of the work group and any relief staff to ensure buildings are cleaned with best use of available resources.
  • Ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to.
  • You will also deliver on the job training to new members of the work group.
