You will be reporting to the Service Manager (Customer and Business Support).
Your working pattern is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective and efficient operation and delivery of the Orkney Health and Care business support function and its day to day activities, delivering on key priorities and driving improvement and change.
As an experienced people manager, you will lead and develop the business support team, based in locations across Orkney. Providing a customer focused service the team contributes to the delivery of high-quality, integrated health and social care services across Orkney.
This includes oversight of information governance, complaints handling, Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests, records management, data protection compliance, performance management, service planning, risk management and business continuity arrangements, while driving continuous improvement in business processes, systems and working practices.
Working closely with senior managers and service leaders, you will provide advice and operational support on business management, governance and service delivery matters.

This post is a regulated role with children and adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
