Registered Manager at Papdale Halls of Residence

14 hours per week, Permanent

£42,908 – £47,397 / £48,017 – £50,919 pro rata (£23.51 - £25.97 / £26.31 – £27.90 per hour)

The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Service Manager (Housing, Homelessness and Schoolcare Accommodation). Your working pattern is Thursday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. We are happy to talk about flexible working, where possible.

The purpose of this role is to undertake the responsibility of Registered Manager with the Care Inspectorate for Papdale Halls of Residence. This is a varied management role within Papdale Halls of Residence which provides school care accommodation services to children from the north and south isles while they complete a secondary school education.

The post holder will be required to manage the day-to-day operation of the facility including responsibility for supervision and support of staff in the performance of their duties ensuring highest standards of professional practice and conduct. The post also requires effective and efficient ongoing operation of services.

This post involves a contractual requirement to:

  • participate in a standby rota covering out of hours
  • carry out sleep ins at your place of work on a rota

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
