This post is for a Night Social Care Assistant at the Sunnybrae Centre, offering 37 hours per week on a permanent basis with a salary range of £41,048 - £41,895 (£21.28 - £21.72 per hour). The above amount includes shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance. This post also attracts a Golden Hello Payment of £2,000 and is eligible for the Refer a Friend Scheme payment of £750.

You will be reporting to the Registered Manager. Your working pattern is on a shift rota basis, including work on weekends and public holidays. The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to older people in their own homes during night hours, ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing throughout your shift. Your work will include responding to care needs, offering reassurance and companionship, and supporting individuals with dignity and respect.

Based at The Sunnybrae Centre, you'll work closely with colleagues and senior staff, taking initiative, sharing ideas, and contributing to a supportive team culture where everyone's input is valued. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to develop their skills and confidence in care.

This post involves a contractual requirement to work unsocial hours on a rota. This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
