The above amounts both include shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Marine Superintendent. Your working pattern is 3 weeks on shift, 3 weeks off-shift. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to crew the pilot launches and other vessels operated by Marine Services. A crewman of the pilot launch will primarily carry out instructions given by the coxswain. The launch deckhand will ensure the safety and security of the pilot launch and the safe transfer of the pilots. The post holder will also assist the Coxswain in observing Harbour operating procedures and the Port Management Safety Code.
