The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Building Cleaning Team Manager. Your working pattern is Monday to Friday, 4.00pm to 8.00pm. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to undertake, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas, which may include toilets and shower areas, within premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Powered equipment may be used where necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervision and instruction of the work group
- Carrying out performance audits when requested
- Ensuring all appropriate returns are completed correctly for the work group including timesheets, job cards and inspection forms
- Organisation of members of the work group and any relief staff to ensure buildings are cleaned with best use of available resources
- Ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to
- Delivering on the job training to new members of the work group
