Sanday Junior High School is seeking suitable candidates for a primary teaching post. This exciting and rewarding position in a small, friendly island 3-16 school (roll approximately 50 pupils) requires an energetic, independent person who would enjoy working flexibly as part of a small, dynamic whole-school team.

You should be enthusiastic and show a commitment and desire to continually improve the quality of learning and teaching. A background in Sounds Write and Talk for Writing would be beneficial.

Prospective candidates should be willing to relocate to the island of Sanday, or be able to live there Monday to Friday. Applicants must be registered, or in the process of registering, with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. This post is subject to a Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with protected children.
