Orka Financial is working with a Retail business to recruit a Finance Systems expert who can lead their upcoming systems implementation and become the got to SME as they look to fully utilise the new system.

If you are a finance person first and foremost that loves getting the best out of financial systems and would like the opportunity to lead a large scale, high profile project then this is the role for you. The suitable candidate well have deep knowledge of Dynamics 365.

The role will operate on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week at the company head office in High Wycombe.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation of the D365 from finance perspective
  • Prepare and optimise financial set up and ownership of the systemic controls
  • Bridge gap between technology and finance - ability to grasp both
  • Administer and optimise ERP platforms and accounting software
  • Analyse current process and design improvements and enhancements to improve process and performance
  • Ensure financial data is accurate and meets regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks
  • Technical support for finance team - Troubleshoot system issues and support finance teams with software use
  • Support Custom build reporting and training
  • Map process to system application
  • Identify improvements opportunities and write up business case

Profile:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft D365 with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally fully qualified or part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), and have practical experience with system implementations and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven experience administering and optimising ERP platforms and accounting software
  • Strong communication skills and able to communicate to all levels including senior leadership.
  • Highly motivated and resourceful, capable of working on initiative, as individual or part of a team.
  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with the stakeholder & wider teams.

Salary: £52,000 - £64,000 + bonus + benefits
