Orka Financial is currently partnering with a successful business based in Bracknell that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the team. The role has responsibility for providing insights into financial performance and supporting the business in making informed financial decisions and preparing accurate financial information.
Duties will include:
- Management reporting, preparing the monthly management accounts and reporting pack
- Providing detailed analysis of financial performance
- Identifying variances from budget and forecast
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports for the senior leadership team
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts for a number of entities
- Reconciliation of the financial accounts
- Assisting with maintaining accurate and complete records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Assisting with cash flow management
- Supporting VAT returns and tax reporting
- Supporting external audits, ensuring the company’s financial records are accurate and compliant
The role requires a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant with solid financial/management accounting experience. You will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. The role is based in Bracknell (hybrid working) and is paying up to £55000 dependent upon experience.
