The Opportunity
Our client requires a qualified accountant with commercial awareness to manage financial reporting and supplier income streams across their European operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a role that combines technical accounting with commercial insight and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management information and supplier billing across European entities
- Reconcile and manage supply chain balance sheets
- Analyse income variances against forecast and budget, partnering with commercial teams
- Produce financial reports and analysis for stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of supplier contract terms to maximise commercial opportunities
- Support debt collection activities and manage relationships with European suppliers
Essential Requirements
- Fluent French (C1 level) β you'll be liaising regularly with French-speaking colleagues and suppliers
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasets
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident personality with ability to balance competing priorities
