Orka Financial is working with a widely recognisable, global consumer goods business based in Slough (hybrid) to recruit their Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to join a massive, recognisable, global business in a key leadership role. The Financial Controller will lead a team of 5 and will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function. Providing insightful financial reporting to help aid decision making. Responsibilities: • Responsible for preparation of monthly financial reporting and to ensure that all local and key HQ corporate reporting deadlines are met • To manage the monthly Income Statement (Actual and FC reports) within the reporting deadlines• To manage timely and accurate Business Unit Income Statements and balance sheets, with a specific focus on risks and opportunities reporting• To manage timely, accurate and completion of financial information for the purposes of the Annual Budget/Plan process• To manage timely and accurate cost centre/Depot expenditure reports for departmental managers within monthly guidelines • To manage the Transfer pricing process monthly and yearly in accordance with company procedures and provide HQ with the required information.
