Our client is a growing £30m turnover business who seek to hire a Finance Manager, the role is newly created and will support the Financial Controller. The Finance Manager will enjoy a varied and broad set of responsibilities including preparation and analysis of the financial reports and reconciliations, internal and external reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.

  • Responsible for the monthly Financial Review Meeting reporting and commentary.
  • Prepare weekly flash reports with the aid of Margin analysis and Forecast reports for UK & UAE entities submitted to the US.
  • Responsible for monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries for UK and UAE entities.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the month end close process and create related journal entries, with assistance from the Senior accountant.
  • To oversee and assist the US reporting at Month End for UK and UAE entities.
  • To assist the Financial Controller with the annual budgeting process including the budget models, coordination of data inputting and produce the budget presentations for the SLT.
  • Responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations for all entities with assistance from Senior accountant.
  • To calculate and process the quarterly VAT returns for the UK entity through Making Tax Digital software. And to oversee all other VAT returns of registered countries.
  • With growth and increasing complexity of international inter-company transactions, review and agree inter-co balances with all subsidiaries in all regions, worldwide.
  • Working with third party accountants in some instances.
  • To oversee the reporting on all Royalty and Rebate accruals across all legal entities.
  • To be a key contact with all external auditors and attending to their queries.
  • To work with the Inventory Planning team to manage and review monthly inventory forecasts & accruals.
  • To provide financial support to all functions of the business e.g. Sales, Marketing, Inventory Planning, Logistics and other teams.
  • To create Management reports by Departments for the business and measure against Budget and prior year.

A salary of £55,000-£60,000 is on offer plus bonus and benefits.
