Our client is a growing listed tech business who seek to hire a Finance Manager. The role will suit a progressive individual who will take ownership of a business unit of a recent acquisition. In time, the role will broaden and take on responsibility for another business unit that will entail line management responsibility. With clear career progression, this role will suit a driven ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant looking for a progressive role in a progressive business.
Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact working closely with the business unit Senior Leadership team to analyse, understand and provide key insights into results, trends and KPIs.
- Provide up-to-date monthly business outlooks to ensure performance is on track to meet annual forecasts and budget.
- Proactively identify areas to improve results with subsequent implementation by working with key stakeholders in the business.
- Finance lead on monthly business unit performance reviews.
- Hands on with month end activities to include revenue and cost completeness, project accounting and OPEX reporting in line with IFRS accounting standards.
- Ensure management accounts are prepared in line with deadlines and in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and understood on a monthly basis.
- Working with the Enterprise Finance Manager to finalise and submit monthly results.
- Working with the business unit senior leadership to complete the annual budget, quarter forecast and 5-year plans with associated presentations and support.
- Provide input to the Finance team to consolidate forecasts and budgets.
- Lead the transition to centralising finance activities as required.
A salary of £65,000-£70,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits.
