Our client is a growing £45m turnover leading cloud, security and wireless IT technology distributor who seeks to hire a Financial Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA, ACCA or CIMA part‑newly qualified Accountant looking for a broad and exciting opportunity. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting internal and external audits. The Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, analysing financial performance, and providing insights to support strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings
- Perform Shipping Reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Monitor and improve financial controls and processes
